|
What to expect: Rising 113 stories, the tower is the tallest free-standing structure in the West. Elevators whisk guests to indoor and outdoor observation decks with 360-degree views of the mountain-ringed desert valley. At night, the valley becomes a neon sea. This hotel appeals to both budget-minded vacationers and families. Amenity highlights: The tower offers a revolving restaurant, a lounge, the world's highest rollercoaster, and "The Big Shot" ride, in which thrillseekers are thrust up the tower's needle and repeatedly dropped down. Cabanas furnished with a ceiling fan, television, telephone, and padded lounges can be rented around the large, eighth-floor rooftop pool, which contains basketball hoops and a volleyball net. Next to the pool, a 12-person, freeform spa supplies convivial soaking. Also within the pool complex is a fitness center with an outdoor free-weight area.
